Investors Sought for Development of New Resorts

Government of the Maldives is inviting bids from eligible parties, local and foreign, to submit their interest to develop tourist resorts in three uninhabited islands – Alidhuffarufinolhu in Haa Alifu Atoll, Kudalhaimendhoo in Shaviyani Atoll, Kunnamalei in Noonu Atoll and a 15 hectare plot of land from Vaikaradhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. 

According to an announcement made by the Ministry of Tourism on 27th December 2020, interested parties are to attend an information session to be held virtually at 1300hrs on 14th January 2021 and submit proposals at 1000hrs on 7th March 2021.
